Islamabad, December 26, 2014: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) will complete development activities in its unique housing project of Park Enclave in stipulated time. The housing project will be equipped with all state-of-the-art facilities.
Chairman CDA, Maroof Afzal said this during a high level meeting held here at CDA Headquarters on Friday. The meeting reviewed the progress about the development activities in Park Enclave Project. On this occasion Member Administration and Estate, Amer Ali Ahmed, Member Engineering, Shahid Sohail, Project Director Park Enclave Housing Project and officers of concerned formations of the Authority were also present.
Chairman CDA, Maroof Afzal expressed his satisfaction over the ongoing development activities in Park Enclave and said that a large number of applicants are participating in the balloting of plots in Park Enclave as the development work continue in the housing project with pace. He said that people are taking keen interest in Park Enclave Housing Project, which shows their full confidence in CDA.
He said that CDA is providing opportunities to the public, particularly to the overseas Pakistanis to participate in the balloting of plots in Park Enclave, adding that CDA has extended the date for balloting of plots so that the people get the opportunity to apply for plots in the luxurious housing project.
Chairman CDA was apprised that CDA has received resounding response from the public for plots in Park Enclave. He directed the Project Director Park Enclave to personally supervise the development activities and submit progress report on daily basis so that the development could be completed within due time to hand over the possession of plots to the successful allottees of Park Enclave.
Project Director Park Enclave apprised the Chairman CDA, that development activities in Park Enclave Housing Project are at full swing and 40 percent of earth work has been completed. He said that construction work on two underground and two overhead water tanks is in progress. He further informed the Chairman CDA that there are 44 small and large roads in Park Enclave Housing Project, adding that work on 33 roads is in progress simultaneously. He informed that boundary wall around the Park Enclave has been completed; however, work on construction of check posts at four sites along the boundary wall is also in progress to ensure foolproof security of residents of Park Enclave. While construction work on culvert has also been initiated, he added.
CDA is developing Park Enclave Housing Project at the cost of Rs.1240.00 million, which includes construction of major roads, service roads, installation of streetlights, construction of footpaths, drainage system, water supply lines and its network, sewerage system, construction of small and large bridges and electrification work. The construction work on boundary line around the Park Enclave Housing Project has already been completed.
